Exchange Students

Would you like to get to know the Faculty 08 as an exchange student in a program such as ERASMUS? You've come to the right place.

As an exchange student, you have the opportunity to study at JGU for one or two terms.  If you have doubts, whether the status exchange student is appropriate for you, please find more info here (available in German only).

Your contact persons are located right at our faculty - coordinators for each exchange program in which we particpate (e.g. our ERASMUS-coordinators).

You will find plenty of information on each subject and program on the faculty's website and the departments' homepages. An important source of information is the students' handbook, which contains a description of all modules and classes.

Proof of Language Proficiency

Exchange students do not need to present a proof of language proficiency. Nevertheless, it is expected that you have basic knowledge of German (or English for our M. Sc. in Physics and M. Sc. in Meteorology programs). The International Preparatory and Language Center (ISSK) offers exchange students the opportunity to brush up their German in a course during the semester.
